@Lady Lucinda Graves Oh wonderful! A Yorkshire neighbor is just what Janet needs. Maybe Lucinda showed her some of the local loveliness and helped her fall in love with the landscape? And now they can reunite in London? The arts connection would certainly be a way to her heart. ^_^

@Earl Nicholas Howard (Evan) Janet would, I think, highly enjoy bad poetry. Especially intentionally bad poetry. And a theatre chum would be great! Any interest in amateur theatricals? The "wicked nephew" is just a distant cousin who has lived an interesting life out in the world--scandalous is a sliding scale, after all. Janet's aunt might have thought him wicked--Janet was more likely to find him entertaining. So if Nicholas has been out in the world doing things, getting up to at least a little mischief, and has no inhibitions about writing a dutiful letter to a prudish aunt with a few juicy details, he might be just the wicked cousin she's looking for! I can easily imagine her seeking out an active friendship with him after she comes to London after reading all his letters--that's really all I had in mind off the top of my head.
