Is there a certain deadline we should consider the last day to mail a letter?

Can't believe how sad I am that the letter game is ending. This has been my most enjoyable way to larp ever. In denial.

It seems poor Captain Jack's penpals are dwindling for various real world reasons. Who would like a letter from out of the blue?

Because his player is bored waiting for replies ;p Who wants a letter out of the blue?

If at any point you want your character to reach out to my character, but you have hit your letter cap, message me, and provided I haven't run through them all, I will toss you an extra letter slot. Hi everyone, I've been giving some thought to recent concerns about letter caps restricting a general reach out beyond established letter circles. I don't know how much help it will be, but I'm considering purchasing an extra letter pool just so I can share it with folks who might be thinking of reaching out to my character but are in danger of reaching their own cap. Before I do, @Athena Peters would that be doable or too much of a logistics nightmare? I don't want to add extra work to you and your staff. So, say player A let me know they wanted to send Jack a letter, but they had reached their cap for the month, could I let you know I wanted to give player A one of my extra letters? If it is doable, would that be a welcome possibility for anyone else? I wouldn't be able to fund all correspondence headed my way, but happy to help when I can.

My first npc letter was perfect, and even made me a tad giddy. Everyone loves positive feedback, so here I am shouting yours to the world. Thank you!

@Athena Peters , I just want to know one thing. How much are you and the other GMs enjoying reading all those letters and the stories building in them?

I've sent several, but I want to write some more tonight to keep my mind off impatiently waiting for a letter to get to me. Comment if you want Cmmdr "Jack" to send your character a letter out of the blue (a few of you already have 1 coming). I promise I'll come up with a cool reason for the uncouth letter writing without prior introduction, ha.

I'm considering getting a cheap costume bicorn hat to wear when I read and write correspondence. Silly, but a fun way to channel Jack. What other small things are you doing? I know some of you are going all out on garb. Hats off to you!

Question for our GM(s)... what is the desired letter writing cadence? Do you want it free flowing as in write 'em and send 'em in as you do and just keep writing and replying, or should we write and compile a batch of letters and send them in as a packet after every newsletter? My suspicion is the former, but would appreciate knowing your vision of how it should flow. Thanks!
