The Bay of Biscay is a well known (if not dangerous) port, so Eliseo has plenty of sea experience and definitely some Navy buddies even if they weren't actively a part of said Navy. Eliseo would much appreciate some smuggling, as would the people of Biscay.

You could also add the seal to the back (depending on how you fold the actual letter) or put it with your signature like a royal seal!

@ Duke James Richmond Eliseo was studying abroad fr the past four and a half years in various places- before that, he was consistently in Spain each year studying! So around 1806ish and before (they would've been a teenager around this time).

Eliseo is a poet lover and a poet (although not a very good one in English since that's his second language). But I could definitely see them getting along and going on poetry picnics and the likes (even if he's a bit more of a young rabblerouser).

Hi! Eliseo is very much an intellect, as well as well-travelled, AND is involed in politics/the war (can't really escape it when you live in Spain during this time period). As someone who is Basque and dealing with absorption by the Spanish and French, I think they would have common interests in helping the needy (even though their definition of that might vary slightly between them).
