Currently working on a tie with @Lady/Marquess Emmeline Petty-Fitzmaurice (Robin) ; it's likely that my character would at least know of you. I'm itching for some political talk/debate/rivalry. Catherine's the granddaughter of Bonnie Prince Charlie so she has some strong feelings, but is also somewhat young and can be influenced.

I'm interested in learning embroidery for the very first time, but have no idea where to begin. My best friend used to embroider favors for our larp characters to wear and even though that larp is long gone, I still treasure the favor she made for me. I had thought of making tokens for others, especially since they are pretty easy to send in the mail. If you don't mind helping a newbie get started out of game, I'd love for Catherine to be included.

I don't have connections, but I know a few people out of game so I figure I will write to them once I get the newsletter. Wanted to jump in here to offer a somewhat related connection or possibility. I was intending to hang back and see how the reduced imperialism of Britain affects (or doesn't?) Ireland and Scotland. I'm playing the granddaughter of Bonnie Prince Charlie; in this era, his actions are somewhat romanticized and removed, but for Lady Catherine, they are real, and she is the one bearing the Stuart name. Might be an interesting connection if our two characters were to correspond. I'm weaving this in because IRL, Charlie had a child (with his married first cousin!), but the baby boy died. Had he lived... this man would be Catherine's father, and her mom is Scottish. I think she'd certainly be interested in the experiences of an Irish person in the RMC and may have conflicting feelings about that... and her own heritage.

I'm moving soon and hope to have a small corner of my new world look a bit old world for writing and photos. Tea is a must. I have ordered a wax seal. Some of my correspondence might have to be typed and printed since I have some issues with my hands due to rheumatoid arthritis. I'm putting together some sort of costume and have asked @(Rachel) Hazel Wynnewood for some costuming tips since she's so awesome with it. Greetings! I'm Tara, long time larper, first time letter larper, and I'll be playing Lady Catherine Marie Stuart. Catherine is a very kindhearted romantic with a notable singing voice, but there are some questions about her lineage. She was debuted a couple years after her peers and at balls she seems to favor those with involvement in military and politics. It's said she likes military fellows, when considering romantic prospects. I'm open to sisters and extended family for this character, as well as friends... maybe a tougher close friend, the Slytherin to her Hufflepuff.
