The Pembrokes live near Bath! Oh - perhaps you've heard of Marion's mother, Lady Dorothea Pembroke? She's the head of a quite successful business in international trade - import of textiles specifically.

I could see Marion pushing him towards politics (: (or even just talking about the topic so constantly that James had no choice but to learn about it EVENTUALLY)

Character Name: Marion Francis Pembroke Bio: The second child of a viscount and an international trade businesswoman, Marion has perhaps too many ambitions for his eighteen years. They've been preparing for years to enter society, under their mother's watchful eye. Growing up, Marion never had much hope of inheriting the family business, but after his sister's unceremonious departure three years ago, those prospects are looking up. Their prospects entering the world of marriage and proposals, though? Those remain to be seen. Sharp of mind and even sharper of tongue, Marion is not the most friendly, despite his best efforts. He's far too much of a proper young lady to get into any proper trouble though (at least, not so far in his life.) Hello all you lovely people! I'm Marshall (they/them), and I'll be playing Abigail Pembroke's rather more serious younger sibling, Lady Marion Pembroke (he/they). I'm fairly new to the LARP scene, and this is my very first letter LARP. I'm very excited to be playing with y'all!! Marion is a brand new debutante, and while he looks quite qualified from a distance (the Pembroke name carries some respect with it, and his mother commands a quite profitable business), one will find that he's quite stiff in person. Of course I am open to character ties. The Pembroke estate is located near Bath (as @Avery/Abigail Pembroke mentioned in the estates thread) so we could perhaps cross paths there. (:
