@Countess Theodora "Theo" Monroe (Tessa) Excellent! All of the name shenanigans would make me so amused. Thea's title is currently Lady but she will inherit the title of Countess as well so they are on like such a level playing field and yet so very different that I can see it being a constant source of amusement for just anyone who knows them honestly.

Theodora "Theo" and Dorothea "Thea" must interact in someway if soley to amuse me because of the name play. Thea is 2 years Theo's senior and they are nothing alike in anyway other than both also being the eldest of their family. (Though Thea's parent's both still live, she will eventually head the family but for now is happily in no responsibility land.) Thea has a more devil-may-care attitude towards her life than Theo and I can almost see them scratching up against each other whenever they may come into contact and having maybe a playfully (or half playful, half sincere) sort of antagonism between them?

I've been looking through great houses for hours because I love, love old architecture. I feel a Pinterest board coming on, man. But for the exteriors of the FitzHugh family seat, I'm rather in love with Knebworth House in Hertfordshire. I haven't landed on a London home yet but the FitzHugh's certainly do keep a home in town. I'll update when I pick it out.

I don't have a DEEP knowledge of the finer points of the Napoleonic Wars vs the Grand Tour but I know the wars were split up into different conflicts so I wasn't sure what/how much travel was restricted. She definitely traveled between those years - I'll pinpoint to where a bit more as all the cultural histories get fleshed out? And I hadn't settled on one school or the other yet so I'll go ahead and say Cambridge. I'd love for them to have overlapped.

Character Name: Dorothea "Thea" FitzHugh Age: 26 Bio: Eldest child of the FitzHugh family, heir to the family name and titles (her father is an Earl, she become a Countess) after the death of her elder brother, recently returned from a tour of Europe edit: because Napolean ruins everything, she's recently returned from either India or Africa though I have yet to decide which. Probably Africa because the logistics of sailing from England to Africa without crossing battlefields are simpler. She is confident, intelligent, charming, allusive, and very gay.
