I would be interested in our characters being friends and/or flirting. My character is also an oldest child with more responsibility than she really cares for. She's a country girl from Ireland turned heir to a Viscount (her uncle), and apparently the rumor she is an Irish rebel. I'm sure we could find some reason for them to start corresponding!

Sorry it took me a bit to get back to this! I love all the characters with Irish heritage! I love the idea of having Irish relatives, but part of Kayleigh's backstory hinges on her mother not being noble. Has her father's side always been nobility?

Character Name: Lady Kayleigh Blackmore Age: 21 Pronouns: She/Her Sexual Orientation: Pansexual Bio: Kayleigh is the eldest daughter of the second son of the late Viscount Blackmore. The current Viscount Blackmore, her uncle Edmund, never married. It was arranged that, as the eldest child of his brother Colin, Kayleigh would move to England when she was of marriageable age and function as her uncle's daughter and heir to the title. Kayleigh's father went traveling in his youth and met her mother Brigid, an untitled woman from a small Irish town outside of Galway. He scandalously married her and moved to her town in Ireland. Kayleigh loved growing up in the Irish countryside and in her heart wanted to remain there. However, she realized that her ability to care for her five siblings and bring Irish representation to the House of Lords is directly related to her rank in society. She is practical to her core and knows a lot about farming and sewing and cooking. Her father did ensure she received a decent education as he knew she would need to fit into Regency society one day. Kayleigh moved to England and was presented recently and attended a few balls before quarantine (I'll adjust her timeline to make this true). She still feels very out of place in society and has been known to sneak out of balls for fresh air (and maybe whiskey). She is considered attractive and kind although still quite awkward in her new role. Though if you talk to her about Ireland, politically or otherwise, she comes out of her shell very quickly. Looking For: Really all things, but specifically: 1. Marriage prospects. Kayleigh wants to marry above her title ideally to give her more political clout. 2. Romantic prospects: Kayleigh "don't plan to marry for love". But we all know what that means! 3. Friends: Can never have too many friends! 4. Hey, I'm also playing an Irish character! (Technically half Irish, half English but raised in Ireland.) I'd love to coordinate a bit as our characters may have at least heard of each other! Also, thanks everyone for the clarification. This has been on my mind as well.

I'm bisexual in real life (although I'm not limited to two genders--it's just the term I've felt more familiar with) and am playing Kayleigh as bi/pansexual!
