Highly organized Virgo here, loves office supplies & neatly chaotic piles. I'm curious how everyone is tracking who's who and how they're connected; how you're planning to keep conversation threads, gossip, and all that organized for yourself. There's a wonderfully high number of names and titles to sort out.
My Society Gazette No. 1 copy is now highlighted, with an intense amount of sticky notes with topics & people of interest to my character. I'm tempted to create a visual map of where everyone is as well, as I learn it, just to help my picture-fueled brain make it easier to remember.
I’m going old fashioned with 3 ring binders and sleeves for physical letters / newsletters. I’m also going to keep copies of the letters I write (I’m writing soon! )
This thread is amazing. My Gemini brain needs to read this
Hello, fellow organized Virgo! :D
I'm starting with it in Google Sheets. As I'm drafting each letter as a file, before writing it, I'm attaching letters I've sent to the applicable addressee line within the sheet (for reference as communications continue).
I've used other cells on each addressee line to note gossip items and other things of note to bring up in future correspondence.
And I have a second tab just for brainstorming ideas for player submissions to the newsletter, NPCs to reach out to, etc.
I might switch to Airtable, for the visual side of things, as needed.
That is SO rad! Currently my character only has deep ties to 4 other characters. But this is going to come in handy verrrry soon.
I've got it all in Notion- a database with tags & checkboxes for characters another database for letter tracking, with detailed info & notes inside that.
